My name is Monica Danney, and I have dedicated my life to children. Since 2011, I have been teaching the Czech language in San Diego, CA. For children born outside the Czech Republic, Czech is a second language, so my teaching approach is specific. Each student’s lessons are tailored to their level of language proficiency, interests, and needs. Child psychology has been my lifelong passion, and I love using my knowledge to create an empathetic, supportive, and motivating environment. With 14 years of experience, I can offer comprehensive assistance and show your children how wonderful it is to speak Czech and understand their grandparents and friends. Depending on their proficiency, I will teach my students not only to speak, read, and write in Czech, but also to engage with history, geography, traditions, the significance of holidays, music, sports, and many other beautiful and interesting topics in a fun and captivating way.

All lessons are structured as one-on-one sessions that provide intensive instruction. Each lesson is engaging, allowing for personalized attention and immediate feedback tailored to the individual student’s needs. Classes can be held either in-person, or online.
